COLLIN

I am a senior pursuing Industrial Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My interest in design began at a young age through sketching classic cars, where I became fascinated by how form, detail, and proportion work together.

This early interest evolved into hands-on furniture restoration, where I learned directly from my peers and gained a deeper understanding of materials, construction, and longevity. Restoring an old COSCO step-stool / chair became a defining moment, showing me how design and restoration work hand-in-hand to create objects that are both functional and meaningful.

Industrial design allows me to bring together my passions for drawing, problem-solving, and making. I approach each project with intention, constantly pushing myself to learn and grow while creating thoughtful, enduring objects that leave a lasting impact on their users.
