This sign turned out to be a bit more of a challenge.

I was unable to remove the bolts holding the wood to the brick, as they would've had to be drilled out. So, I taped around it and was able to paint.

I had to scrape away 50 years worth of glue holding on what was left of the handmade numbers.

I was actually able to salvage the original rubber mat steps. Subsequently making their way back on instead of getting new ones.

1960's Kitchen Step Chair

This was my first restoration project. Here is where I would say my design journey began.

Having always wanted to restore vintage cars, I decided to pursue an alternative that captured the essence of chrome, metal, and paint, but without the expensive maintenance costs.

Vintage Child's Rocking Chair

This was a more personal project, as this chair was crafted by my great-grandfather to my mother when she was an infant. I made sure to stay as true to the original finish.

There were many deep scratches and had to be completely taken apart.

1950's Kitchen Step Chair

This chair belongs to an elderly woman who received this chair many decades ago.

I took the into a shop to get the metal sandblasted, luckily the metal was in great shape.

In addition, the original step pads were too far gone, so I made custom ones.

Address Signs

Yes, everything is all original. I was able to not only refresh the wood, but the numbers and screws as well.

Why throw something away if all it needs is some elbow grease?
